POSITION: Associate – Washington DC Office

DUTIES: Responsible for schedule and budget; Communicate directly with clients, contractors, and consultants to refine and implement the design; Develop, review, and refine drawings that clearly define the materials and specifications of the project; Accurately present bids and respond to issues during the bid process; Conduct inspections as a Certified Landscape Expert for Green Area Ratio projects completion; Provide construction administration services that include on-site team meetings, providing feedback on submittals and shop drawings; Work with various permitting agencies throughout the Washington DC area and obtain permits for construction; Train and mentor Project Designers.

REQUIREMENTS:   Master or Bachelor's Degree of Landscape Architecture or a closely related discipline and 4-6 years experience. Must have Professional landscape architecture license and experience with: Working and managing complex large-scale urban park projects from design to construction completion; Fluency in 3D modeling and rendering using Rhino, Grasshopper, and Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD; Independently managing landscape projects from design ideation to through construction administration including coordination and presentation with clients and team consultants.
