Born and raised between China and Japan, Hibiki developed an early appreciation for the natural world not as a backdrop to urban life, but as an inseparable part of it. To her, landscape architecture offers a space where people, wildlife, plants, water, and light coexist and shape shared memory.

She studied landscape architecture at China Agricultural University before earning her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. After graduation, Hibiki moved to San Francisco, where she worked on large-scale international projects, including mixed-use urban developments and expansive public parks.

Hibiki joined Moody Graham in 2022, bringing expertise in stormwater design, green infrastructure, and resilient park systems. She is especially interested in working across scales to bridge natural processes with daily human experience, always seeking to harmonize ecological function with design intention.
